As founder and principal of ERL Event Consulting and Training, Eileen helps corporations and nonprofit organizations create unique, first-class special events by teaching and providing hands-on training to each organization's existing staff members. Eileen coordinates events of all types and sizes, including travel incentive programs, corporate meetings, and nonprofit cultivation events.

Eileen has over 30 years of experience as a professional coordinator of special events. In 1984, she established CDK Events Management, Inc., a New Jersey-based event consulting firm that coordinates international conferences, receptions, major corporate events, galas, sports events, civic festivals, concerts, and many of New Jersey's most successful fund raising events. Through her work at CDK Events Management, some of Eileen's signature events included:

  • Numerous large employee events, groundbreaking ceremonies and dedications for Merck & Co., Inc. in New Jersey, Virginia, and Pennsylvania: including the ground breaking for their corporate headquarters in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey and the 1991 Merck Centennial Celebration for 50,000 attendees
  • Several events for the Merck Institute for Science Education, including the annual Merck State Science Day
  • Development and opening of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, New Jersey; responsibilities included groundbreaking ceremonies, cultivation events and the history-making opening night in October, 1997
  • Unique travel-incentive programs in Scottsdale, Seattle and San Francisco in the United States, Dromoland Castle in Ireland and in Nevis, West Indies

Eileen holds a bachelor's degree from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. She has three grown children, enjoys cooking, fine food, and wine, and currently resides in her Charleston, South Carolina home.
